How to make a request for Bridging Visa C (subclass 030)
At the time when you forwarded your request for a substantive visa in Australia, you by default might have also requested for the linked BVC (subclass 030). The department will let you know if this is the case. However in case you have to apply for a BVC (subclass 030) independently, you need to download the Form 1005 from the website of Department of Immigration and Citizenship, Government of Australia, need to fill it up completely and attach the necessary documents such as duplicate of your passport etc and need to submit it at nearest Australian Processing Centre.
You and anybody mentioned on your BVC request form have to be present in Australia when the request for BVC is forwarded and the visa is issued.
Visa Fee
There is no visa application fee for BVC (subclass 030).
After you have made the request for BVC (subclass 030)
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship will officially inform you regarding the BVC issuing judgment and whether it has a clause on it that stop you from working when it accepts the receiving of your substantive visa request.
In case you make a request independently for a BVC, the department will officially inform you about the BVC issuing judgment and associated laws and regulations.
In case the request for visa is accepted, the department will mail you about the date from when your visa is effective, visa issuance number etc.
